Problem :
The Meetra Application is an application that allows people going your way to carpool with you and they pay and you drop them at their destination while you love to yours, we have a very sleek and smooth navigation platform that allows switch between drivers and passenger and you can easily see people going your way. we created a very easy navigation flow, checkout anf payment process and an updated user interface.
The Meetra Application was designed for easy, fast and quick movement around places in Lagos. We do have people going the same way but only one person would be in the car using same fuel quantity, so we created a platform where people carpool with someone going your way and avoid the stress of moving around.
Solution :
We do have people going the same way but only one person would be in the car using same fuel quantity, so we created a platform where people carpool with someone going your way and avoid the stress of moving around.
The mobile application focused on creating a smooth flow where one can navigate between passenger and driver in order to pick or accept rides and it also has included a map for navigation and also an authentication security flow for finding your driver or passenger and also for payment process.
The application adopted a sleek, modern aesthetic with ample white space, clean typography, and cohesive color schemes, making the app feel both fresh and trustworthy.
Challenge :
One of the main challenges was the security aspect of the application in order for us not to escalate kidnapping process and also paying to the wrong person, with this we included a two way authentication security procedure where the driver has a code and the passenger has to input the code before the ride begins. Ensuring that the app remained easy and safe for use for both the driver and the passenger so extensive user testing and iteration was carried out.
Summary :
The "Meetra App" transformed the transportation process in Nigeria into a user-friendly and easy engaging platform. By simplifying navigation, optimizing the checkout flow, and introducing a sleek interface, the project significantly improved user satisfaction and reduced fear of insecurity throughout the carpooling process.
This design demonstrates the power of thoughtful UX/UI improvements in driving business success and enhancing the overall customer experience.
